This beach home was sinking into the sand and needed a lift!  We raised the home up with steel beams, removed the old piers, poured a webbing of continuous footings, built a new stemwall foundation, and set the home back down.

After lowering the home, the owners wanted us to make their porch flooring stronger- well, after a little investigation, we discovered the entire porch was completely rotted and needed a rebuild.... This was a very tricky project!  ALL the wood was rotted, from the posts up, except for the roof.  With this structure being on a 2nd level, we had to come up with a creative solution to brace the roof as we basically demolished the entire porch.  It was very intense at first:  siding and wood were just peeling off!  The entire structure was so rotted, I don't know how it never just fell down through the years!!
